SusuanaLoves Spaceship

This is an outfit I've designed based on the song spaceship by Benny B featuring Kelis. I'm glad dance and electronic music is becoming more known outside. I think the video to is a bit of a green screen fail at times.

Anyway I created this look from a sweet futuristic fashion royalty look. Now I look at it she sorta looks like Keri Hilson meets Lady Gaga.

I like designing things but I doubt I can make half the things I design; I'm more of a customizer when it comes to textiles. )

Many of my followers are surprised by the fact I draw, lol there’s a lot more to come, pencil and paper are artistic foundations, who do you think did my header? ;) (Although technically that’s ink and paper lol)

I’d also like take a quick moment to thank all my followers and people that read this blog or comment. I set this account up a long time ago but never used it, I didn’t think I could do this whole blogger thing, this is only my 13th post I've already befriended many great and interesting bloggers. I’m still new this BlogSpot thing and now that I'm following lots of people I appreciate it even more that you take the time and my sometimes very long blogs when I bet you have so many others on you reading list. Also Since I'm looking to go into the Media Industry I need experience communicating to a large audience and it’s nice to know people are actually reading and interested in what I write J

Oh and I designed my self a new logo!! ( becuse Im into graphic design and animation and stuff) I t would be nice to have some feed back :).

SusuanaLoves Africa 2k10 1#

I love this song, me and my friends was doing the dance when we all went out last night and this morning it was the only thing I could think of lol.

I also love African prints and The Asos and American Apparel african influenced pieces. Topshop has got one coming up to but I think thats more for Autumn

This is my favourite bag and and I rarely leave the house without it (whatever Im wearing). Its my little piece of Africa, I found it in my charity shop one day and bought it for £5. Its hand made and real leather. What can I say, when in doubt, or in search for something more original GO VINTAGE!!
I know I have followers from all over the place and I'm always interested to learn about your cultures :) Love you all

SusuanaLove’s Movie Review #2 (Toy Story 3)

Yesterday I was back at Westfield cinema again this time it was a belated birthday trip of one of my besties Sia, so it was me, her and another friend of ours. Anyway it was her belated celebration so I didn't pick the movie and it started two hours late so we just watched the next thing that was on, which was Toy Story 3. My other friend was nice enough to pay for all of us including food!

To be honest it’s been so long, I barely remember what happened in the previous Toy Stories. And although it’s more of a kid’s film it was actually pretty good. Andys all grown up and packing for college (just like me!) and it sort of feel that the toys have grown up too the sound like they’ve learned allot over the years, even Barbie sounds intelligent at times. It’s brilliantly written and funny, you become attached to the toys by the end and there are points when you just can’t help but get emotional lol. And I love all the new toys the meet. It was in 3D, I don’t personally see the big deal with 3D and feel that sometimes its used to make up for how crap a movie is, but in Toy story 3 it wasn’t the case. All in all I’m glad I watched it.

I give it *** stars

Ok being at London’s biggest Shopping centre of course I had to “look around” *cough* Before the movie I saw a pair of earrings and a necklace in new look but I didn't have cash for hem both so I bought the necklace and hid the earrings in the shop (because they were the last pair) so I could get them after I went to the bank , but when the film finished and I got back they were goneL.

So to make up for it I went to hmv and bought a CD. Got Ladyhawke’s Debut Album, It’s still playing in my hifi. The artwork in the album is amazing too; I analysed Sarah Larnach’s (the artist) artwork for my Graphics Alevel. I also did a little interpretation of my own based on her work, using a couple of my friends as models

Mi amigos:
Tora (On the right - She’s an actual Model too) -http://shes-dead.blogspot.com/
Darina (On the left – She likes taking pictures) –http://www.flickr.com/photos/darina_photography/

And since we were in the shopping mode we hopped on tube (train/subway) and stopped at Oxford Street on the way home, which was nicely packed as usual. We went accessory hunting here and there; and I found my earrings! There we’re also the last pair in the shop! Anyway got go get ready for work, But I’ll comment on some of your blogs b4 I go J

Mr Potato head to Ken: You’re not a toy you’re an accessory, you’re a purse with legs!

SusuanaLove’s Skater Boys Photos

I haven’t taken any pictures with my film camera for a couple of weeks now so thought that I should just get out and go some where unusual.

Ok, so a skate park isn’t so unusual, but it is for me I never actually been in one, although I've passed many on buses and a load of my male friends skate. I can’t skate to save anyone but it looks cool. And I’d always thought; if I could learn how to skate a bit I could film while skate and get really smooth tracking shots.

And who doesn’t love skater boys. If you’re a guy and you can skate you officially got five brownie points. Ten if he plays the guitar. Definitely some Eye Candy for the Babay (My pet name for my film Camera).

I could have gone to South Bank (the more famous skate park location) but I thought everyone goes there to film and take pictures, just Google it. So I went somewhere closer to home, hooked up with some guys that I use to go secondary school with that I knew that regularly skate. And then went down to their skate park in West London. One of the pros of living in a big city, 15 minutes on a bus and your already somewhere interesting. The Park it’s in its really pretty its got streams and bridges, this little oriental bit and a Moroccan influenced bit. I’ll be definitely going back there for shoots. And I now understand fully what Lupe Fiasco was saying in his song Kick Push because we had to take a journey, because soon as the sun comes out so do a load of skaters and it all becomes too crowded and you have to find somewhere else, and when you do its most likely near a residential area and all the sudden your getting evils.

I did this last weekend but my photos have only just come back TODAY! (That’s the last time I go to the Whitley’s shopping centre Jessops again! they cant even scan things properly! ¬¬) Here are some of the photos I took. The film was a bit old, I found it in donated camera bag in the charity shop I work in; you can find these photos and the rest on my Flickr Photostream. I’d really appreciate your thoughts on them.

One of many epic Moments

Scott: Can I borrow a plain red t-shirt for church?

Kris: I've got one but its not plain red

Scott: What’s it got on it?

Kris: Arrows pointing down

Scott: Nah it’s all right

XD
