SusuanaLove's South Bank
The other day after I went to the Feminist Library Summer fete I took a walk through Lambeth (where its based) and ended up in south bank. Its one of the reasons I love London. I had my camera, it was all a bit quick since I was skipping about lol, here's some photos I took.

SusuanaLove Photography: "So Talented" TABOT MIX SHOWCASE 2011
Hey
On the 30th of July I got do the photography and filming for a wicked Dance show for a group called the Tabot Mix. It was very challenge doing both at the same time but Im learning allot and will be working with them more in the near future. Im actually looking forward to putting my photography portfolio together soon, it should have a wide range of things but I still have allot to learn a but night photography, and photographing movement.
Also it was my first full day at work yesterday and I even ended up with £20 worth of tips :) and during my break I found out that I won the giveaway on Pretty things blog :)

SusuanaLove: BLOG ANNIVERSARY :D
Hi everyone,
This Sunday is the end of a great week, I finished my exams on Wednesday and ordered the slr of my dreams. The next day it arrived :) (read post bellow) On the fifth i also realised that my first post on Blogspot was on the 5th of may last year 0.o. So I thought it would be cool to do a post on it and say thank you to everyone that reads my blog :)
A year later I have 88 followers and over 7000 hits
Hi to everyone that saw me through this year, finishing college, starting university, developing my photography, even through the bad times and through the spelling grammar mistakes >< . Thanks for making my time on blogspot so far enjoyable and for all your comments.

Last night I thought the moon was a bit more important than doing my essay
Some events bring the whole world together good and bad. My thoughts and prayers go out to all who are being effected by the Earthquake in Japan. Theres so many ways to donate and help, on campus the Japanese society are fundraising all over the place. Apple I tunes are also accepting donations, so next time you buy a song from there maybe you could help too, and ebay is also accepting donations along with may other places. Cuz clicking on a facebook page doesn't help anyone :P

SusuanaLove: Red Blooded Women
Hey everyone hope your're all ok, below are some photos from my latest shoot. If any one wants to know how to do the nails click here, but I warn you they're not as easy to apply as the instructions make out. At uni Ive joined the new feminist society, I'm not sure I an call my self a full feminist but I'm really interested in their arguments, for female equality in all sectors ofcorse, and plan to study women in film next year as one of my modules. Also decided to change my calendar artist of the month feature on here to female inspirational artist of the month. Maybe the ones that I think have a feminist flare, and are real representations of female equality.

PS - Someone who is NOT a feminist Icon is Lady Gaga, for reasons I can write a whole blog post on, shes is an icon of her sexuality not of her sex. THE ARTICLE By the way who has seen the new lady gaga video - born this way? Personally I think its a shame when artists need to throw in Illuminati signs and dress like hookers so people will watch their videos and listen to their songs and get a opinions across, shes gonna run out of symbols soon, what happened to the times when the song was all you needed.

SusuanaLove: First Photography Exhibit
So on Tuesday was the first exhibit for the photography society at my university to raise some money for the society and for charity. One of my photos was chosen which was cool. I've had artwork shown before but never a photo so was most excited to realise this was like an unofficial début lol. I don't usually count academic associated exhibits as real ones lol.
Funnys: The organisers actually thought my name was Susuana Love, some said that wasn't may name on face book, so they changed it again, then my friend explained it was my middle name. I just laughed.
I got contacted about doing photography for my friend who going up for the elections and another friend wanted to me to do photography for a big show that going to be put on later in the year so i'm getting some experience I guess, not really in the field I want to go in but still should be interesting ^ ^

SusuanaLove: Back on Blogger :)
Hi everyone Im back!! (for those who realised i had left)
As some of you may know I took a little break from blogger because my life was getting too hectic. Too be honest its not that much better but I experiencing a wave of a positive mentality. Im home for the Christmas Holiday where I can deal with stresses the best way I know how, getting work done. "Im in hibernation" im telling people lol. Getting my essays done and a little bit of novel and script writing and Art. One thing that has helped me is photography and remembering how i used art to express my feelings :)
This is a shoot I did in the last week of term when I turn my room in to a studio and used lamps for lighting :)
