Hey guys,                                                                  Sorry that I haven't been around for a while, life has been super hectic with uni and stuff. Anyway I'm back and I really want to tell you about A few weeks ago i went to an exhibition called Bedlam, a Lazarides production in association with HTC featuring at The Old Vic Tunnels which are just right under the Waterloo station. It was so good that I went twice! The tunnels are a great venue and theres even a bar in one of the tunnels.

SusuanaLove's South Bank

The other day after I went to the Feminist Library Summer fete I took a walk through Lambeth (where its based) and ended up in south bank. Its one of the reasons I love London. I had my camera, it was all a bit quick since I was skipping about lol, here's some photos I took.

Hope you are all having a good summer :)

My Buys! its sad because Im on a tight budget. I gave my CV to a cute shop on portobello road so hopefully I will get the job at that will fund my vintage loving life style.

I got this vintage over sized cardigan for £5, i adore this! I think is gonna be a fav for me when it gets chilli. And I managed to haggle my self 3 tutu shirts for £12. Not bad eh? :D It was a great day out. Hope you are all having a great summer :)

Over the summer I'm getting involved with setting up a women against cuts group at My uni, I set up a blog for it the other day http://rhwaca.blogspot.com/

Oh yeah forgot to tell yah I PASED this year!!!!! :D Will know my exact grade on the 1st of July. I found out my coursework which is 50% was a 2.1. And I also received the best feed back ever! :)

"Your individual role was as Creative Director, and your team commended you in this role as someone who held the team together and gave them clear drive and passion. Well done. Your reports and evaluation are excellent, detailed, informative and clear, with a nice mix of personal reflection and practical detail. I’m very pleased with the effort you have put into this project, and am pleased to read that you feel you have learned good production skills and become closer as a team as a result. You should be very proud of the final result. Well done."

This made me so happy, I will have to quote this in my application for MFA. I've changed my mind again! and decided that I want to try and apply for Fine Art: Media MFA at University College London after my Bachelors

Any way Im so glad to be back home and looking forward to a productive summer.

SusuanaLove @ LCC Exhibition

Last night I went to the opening night of London College of Communication (which is part of University of the arts London) Art Foundation End of Year show. I had an amazing time and caught up with some art people I used to work with at college and made a  few contacts and saw some really cool pieces of work. This what I miss about London - the art! Well done to my mate Kezia Levitaz for her amazing work :)

Its a shame the the London college of arts wants to raise their fees like the rest of the  top London universities to £9000 a year (http://www.lcc.arts.ac.uk/40786.htm) they say like the rest that they will attempt provide a way for poorer students to still be able to study there but :/ i hoped to do a short course or a maybe a foundation in fashion photography at London college of fashion but who knows now :/
Hey on the upside I can always say I'm a completely self taught photographer :P SNAP!

SusuanaLove’s Dear 50 Followers

I was going to post this tommorow but my blogger friend v a m p i r e, told me that I had 50 followers. I normally look at blogs via my psp and i cant see how many followers people have. 50 is statement making number lol

This is my 22nd post BlogSpot. I haven’t had my BlogSpot for as long as many people that I’ve been following, I've had a live journal for around six months but I started my BlogSpot because I wanted to interact with people and Live journal is more like a personal diary.
I think as a newbie you experience lots of things, like getting your first bunch of followers, then your first bunch of comments, the followers that become friends, then the follow me back, then never see of again followers. Didn't really expect that this would come with BlogSpot package :/ But I think quite early on, like allot of bloggers I know, I came to the point were I thought, I'm going to blog what I like, how I like, I don’t care if nobody comments on it, It my blog, nobodies paying you to pretend to like it.
But for all that made my blog feel SusuanaLoved I wanted to give some something back to there I'm giving out a my own little special award called “Summer of Love” to all my followers that I have got so far
These are all the people that are eligible for the award right now:

To the bloggers that:

Actually read blogs and comment accordingly
Are not afraid to voice their views
Doesn’t care about how many followers they have
Or how many comments they receive
At least says thanks if someone follows them
And that follow a blog because they like it, not for more followers

*

I'm not going msg them about this award, if they really read my blog, they know where to find it

Best post I've read lately: http://josephkendrick.blogspot.com/2009/05/odd-night.html
He doesn’t get any comments but has an awsome blog! *I'm following*

Now, leaving you with a few pictures from Europe’s biggest street Carnival
It rained, we danced, ate and drank, we saw Kano, and spoke to total strangers, as you do, on Carnival ...

Blog like no ones watching…

SusuanaLove’s Movie Review #2 (Toy Story 3)

Yesterday I was back at Westfield cinema again this time it was a belated birthday trip of one of my besties Sia, so it was me, her and another friend of ours. Anyway it was her belated celebration so I didn't pick the movie and it started two hours late so we just watched the next thing that was on, which was Toy Story 3. My other friend was nice enough to pay for all of us including food!

To be honest it’s been so long, I barely remember what happened in the previous Toy Stories. And although it’s more of a kid’s film it was actually pretty good. Andys all grown up and packing for college (just like me!) and it sort of feel that the toys have grown up too the sound like they’ve learned allot over the years, even Barbie sounds intelligent at times. It’s brilliantly written and funny, you become attached to the toys by the end and there are points when you just can’t help but get emotional lol. And I love all the new toys the meet. It was in 3D, I don’t personally see the big deal with 3D and feel that sometimes its used to make up for how crap a movie is, but in Toy story 3 it wasn’t the case. All in all I’m glad I watched it.

I give it *** stars

Ok being at London’s biggest Shopping centre of course I had to “look around” *cough* Before the movie I saw a pair of earrings and a necklace in new look but I didn't have cash for hem both so I bought the necklace and hid the earrings in the shop (because they were the last pair) so I could get them after I went to the bank , but when the film finished and I got back they were goneL.

So to make up for it I went to hmv and bought a CD. Got Ladyhawke’s Debut Album, It’s still playing in my hifi. The artwork in the album is amazing too; I analysed Sarah Larnach’s (the artist) artwork for my Graphics Alevel. I also did a little interpretation of my own based on her work, using a couple of my friends as models

Mi amigos:
Tora (On the right - She’s an actual Model too) -http://shes-dead.blogspot.com/
Darina (On the left – She likes taking pictures) –http://www.flickr.com/photos/darina_photography/

And since we were in the shopping mode we hopped on tube (train/subway) and stopped at Oxford Street on the way home, which was nicely packed as usual. We went accessory hunting here and there; and I found my earrings! There we’re also the last pair in the shop! Anyway got go get ready for work, But I’ll comment on some of your blogs b4 I go J

Mr Potato head to Ken: You’re not a toy you’re an accessory, you’re a purse with legs!
