SusuanaLove: Inspirational Artist Calendar - Jhene

Jhene Akio, is a wonderful singer who was about years ago then disappeared, then had a baby, then apparently broke up with her baby's father but anyway now she's finally back with her long awaited album. Im loving all the songs from this, they are mostly relaxing but but at the same time  from powerful and seen to reflect what she's been through. The one that I can relate to the most is Stranger. I know a few people that don't really like the video but I think it just reflects the mood of the music, its more of an art and music installation than a conventional music video. She she a beautiful singer and mother, I hope she doesn't disappear again after this album.

SusuanaLove: Museum of broken relationships Exhibit

Yesterday I went to see an exhibit called the Museum of broken relationships, which is on at the Tristan Bates Theatre in London till the 4th. The exhibit is made up of donated items with stories from broken relationships. it was really good, there were things like jewellery, a piano, a broken garden gnome and mostly crap presents from bitter relationships. Tickets are only £3.50 and your ticket lasts for  a week :). Its was strange because a friend offer to take me who I used to be in a relationship with a very long time ago, lol he did it to cheer me up and had no idea where he was going, we had a fun time though.

I also stopped by london graphic centre to have a look round, but I just had to buy something!!! i bought this lovely paper which Im to use make words to stick in my room, also finally bought some cream curtains to go with my canopy and huge matching winne the pooh calendar (yes i know its nearly august but it was only 99p and it goes with my room lol) :D

SusuanaLove: Films and pillows

Hey everyone, I know Ive been promising pic or two of my new room but my camera is still my mums house for now, so took a pick on my web cam. Ive still got many things I want to do before my room becomes the ultimate chill out/ inspiration lounge, but will probably happen when my loan come in :P

And when I eventually do I hope this will be out and on dvd quickly. This film, must be amazing, the trailer is amazing, I will be very angry if it fails. Warning this is one of those cinema trailers the one that basically condense the whole story so you might not want to watch it all. No point of telling whats going to happen really lol, just watch!!! Oh yh thanks to my friend David Hinga for showing me this :P

Hope you have a lovely weekend :)

Susuana Love: London Riots

To those who are concerned Im not in London at the mo and have moved to my new house the countryside early. London has gone mad and so have other cites in the UK but what I have heard. I keep checking up on my London friends and family, and I hope everyone is safe.

The rioters have a right to be angry but not a right to steal or ruin/set fire to people homes, cars and lively hoods. If you're fighting the government or the police go to the headquarters and riot there don't ruin your own communities. Is a hd tv or trainers a human right? If you was stealing something you needed like food for you family or child, that you could no longer afford because of the horrid economy it would be more acceptable, but for luxuries when people are starving around the would and fighting for freedom?

And to the police? At student protest you want to send hundreds of Riot police to sort us out but you're taking it easy on rioters? Perspective is needed. Quite happy not to be in the city at the mo. Looking forward to Paris soon :)

SusuanaLove Novel/Art Work: The Story of Jade-Pharrell

Hi Everyone

Todays post has been scheduled and Im actually writing this on Sunday. Ive been so busy, Ive (thank the Lord) found a job! as a waitress and waiting to hear if I have a second one. Ive also had my first live filming+photography job last night 0.o and boy that was tiresome and Ive spent all day editing exporting etc. I have work most of Today (Monday) so I wont be able to post this.

Anyway that's not what this is post is about, this post is about my story The story of Jade-Pharrell, one of the two main characters Jade-Pharrell is 7 years old today. I cant beieve I made this so long ago. Now I reviving and in my spare time trying hard to write the full novel that comes along side art work. The story is set on another world called Maya which legend say is linked to this world and other dimensions through portals, in the mountains that surround the flat island planet that only portal guardians can find. A child is born called Kim-Marie who has portal guardian powers but denies them. Her younger sister who she becomes guardian of after they become orphans, loves the tales of the portal guardian ancestors who it is rumoured to have. An evil source who is trying to get to this world steals and empowers the portal guardian mutation in Jade-Pharrell away and loses her on earth when Kim-Marie denies her power. Kim-Marie must comes to terms with her gifts to save the only family left and Jade-Pharrell must survive on her own while trying to recall the life she use to live while stranded on a foreign planet.

On the right is Jade-Pharrell after evil source partly transforms her. (she goes really pale and ghostly-like) The one the left is Kim-Marie

The theme for this would is neo-steam punk and so is the fashion, so I've been trying to work some designs for clothing.
steam punk love
So be on the look out :) have a lovely week :)
